With its 17% larger face and 13% higher MOI, compared to its HiBore XL predecessor, the HiBore XLS Tour offers maximum size and increased stability for added confidence and control off the tee. Its dual alignment features, which include a crown plaque and stability foils, also make it much easier to properly align the club at address. The Cleveland HiBore XLS Tour is available with Fujikura’s Fit-On M Red and Gold shaft fitting system offered as a standard option. This unique fitting system allows each player to determine if a Tour Trajectory (Red) or Standard Trajectory (Gold) is right for their particular game. The larger face and higher moment of inertia of the Cleveland HiBore XLS Tour driver makes a big difference, because the crown of the head has been carved out to make it longer and deeper. Not only does this increase the forgiveness, but it also makes it much easier to align the club at address. In this position the HiBore XLS Tour driver does look very good and at impact it gave a powerful strike and solid sound. The HiBore XLS Tour boasts a more traditional and compact pear shape and has a longer Tour length hosel. Its 2 degree open face and toe biased weighting helps give better players more workability and increased distance. We have tested the Cleveland HiBore XLS Tour version and think this is the pick of the three models, especially for better players. The feel and sound was stronger and the trajectory a little lower than the standard version, so if you play in the wind or on firm courses, then this is the one for you.
